From Your Teammate is a movement of elite student-athletes turning the grind into a support system. We pair mentors and mentees across various sports and time zones, share evidence-based tools for academics and time management, and coach teams to work more effectively together using MBTI-informed insights. Guided by professionals and athletes who’ve lived it, we’re here to reduce burnout and anxiety, protect mental health, and keep the joy of sport alive. No medal is worth your well-being, and no athlete should carry it alone.

We envision a world where every student-athlete, regardless of their sport or schedule, has the resources, guidance, and encouragement to thrive, not just as athletes but also as students and individuals.

About the Founder

Hi, I'm Emma Lee, a junior full IB student and four-time Team USA member for Taekwondo. Sports have always been a big part of my life. I started as a competitive cheerleader, but due to shoulder injury I had to close that chapter. As the youngest sibling, I often watched my brothers and sisters play sports, which led me to try Taekwondo. I began competing in 2020, right as the pandemic hit, and juggling training with school was overwhelming.

My older siblings helped me manage the stress and pressure, and it made me realize how important it is to have support. This inspired me to create From Your Teammate, a platform for athletes to find the support I wished I had during my toughest times. No athlete should face burnout, isolation, or pressure alone.
